6 Composers’ Café- 3:00 PM, Nob Hill If you enjoy original music, snack, and good friends, then this is an opportunity for you! This event is a recital of original compositions by students. All styles of music are welcome here! If you have written a piece for solo piano, or for an ensemble, this is your chance to have your piece performed! All ages and levels are invited to participate. We will also have exciting presentations and masterclasses by professional composers.
If you are interested in composing but need help getting started, you can sign up for composition lessons from one of our composers on staff to prepare you to perform at the Composers’ Café. Students are welcome to take a couple of private composition lessons to prepare or they may register for weekly lessons in composition throughout the semester.
