Francisco Munoz


Guitar

Francisco Munoz has performed in dozens of classical recitals as well as numerous shows with his jazz-fusion band Soluz, with whom he recorded his first CD "Lucid Dreams" in 2009. He began teaching guitar at the Phoenix Conservatory of Music, where he offered private lessons, beginning and intermediate Flamenco, and general music classes. he won second place in the solo and ensemble categories as well as third place in composition when he participated at the Maricopa Community College District competition in 2009. Francisco was awarded a diploma by the Carmen Amaya Flamenco School in Mexico, for collaborating as a guitar player (tocaor) in 2004. Aside from classical and flamenco, he has an extensive background in Latin-American music and classic rock. Francisco is currently enrolled at the University of New Mexico studying under Professor Michael Chapdelaine.
