Founded in October 2005, the New Mexico School of Music is home to over 500 students of all ages and ranges of musical abilities. Our facilities are specifically designed to create a quality learning atmosphere and include a performance space, comfortable teaching rooms and a cozy waiting area.
We strive to make learning fun for our students and at the same time, provide the highest level of instruction by maintaining a well-structured and comprehensive approach. Our program includes private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, strings, percussion, wind and brass instruments. Additionally, we offer a variety of group music classes such as Kindermusik, keyboard and guitar ensembles, group voice classes, rock and roll band, music theory and more!
We provide opportunities for significant growth for students of all ages and levels - from beginners to advanced performers. For those interested students, ample performing and learning opportunities exist including recitals, festivals, masterclasses and competitions.
Our outstanding instructors are all artists who combine excitement, energy and new ideas with their exceptional teaching skills. All students and teachers share one common interest - their love of music!
