This class will explore the folk music revival of the ’50s and ’60s, as well as contemporary acoustic singer-songwriters.

(60 minutes, 12 weeks)
Though vocal expertise is not required, singing will be an important part of the class. In singing these songs, we will learn how to improvise two-and three-part harmonies. All traditional folk instruments are invited to participate, including but not limited to: guitar, banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, autoharp, and dobro.
