Group Guitar Classes
These classes offer a wonderful introduction to the guitar for children ages 6 – 8. Designed for students with little or no musical background, the small group format allows for individual attention, which provides everyone with an opportunity to progress quickly. This class provides a solid foundation for continuing with more advanced guitar classes and private lessons.
Group Guitar (ages 6 – 8)
(45 minutes, 8 weeks)
This class is designed for absolute beginners who have no previous guitar or music experience. Students will learn how to read music for guitar, play simple chords, and develop basic techniques, both using the fingers and a pick. Our beginning guitar class provides a solid foundation for continuing with more advanced guitar classes and private lessons. Students older than 8 years will be considered on a case-by-case basis. This class is for acoustic, nylon-string guitars.
