Welcome to the New Mexico School of Music!
Founded in October 2005, the New Mexico School of Music is home to over 300 students of all ages and ranges of musical abilities. Our facilities are specifically designed to create a quality learning atmosphere and include a performance space, many comfortable teaching rooms and a cozy waiting area.
We strive to make learning fun for our students and at the same time, provide the highest level of instruction by maintaining a well-structured and comprehensive approach. Our program includes private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, strings, percussion, wind and brass instruments. Additionally, we offer a variety of group music classes such as Harmony Road™ (ages 16 months to 11 years), keyboard and guitar ensembles, group voice classes, musical theater, drum circle, rock and roll ensemble, music theory and more!
We provide opportunities for significant growth for students of all ages and levels - from beginners to advanced performers. For those interested students, ample performing and learning opportunities exist including recitals, festivals, masterclasses and competitions.
Our outstanding instructors are all artists who combine excitement, energy and new ideas with their exceptional teaching skills. All students and teachers share one common interest - their love of music.

New Mexico School of Music has Gift Certificates available for your favorite musician! Purchase one lesson, a month of lessons, or an entire semester. We can help! Please contact us at (505) 266-3474 to make arrangements. Certificates can be mailed to the recipient directly from our office upon payment. No driving or shopping required.
