20th Anniversary Gala Concert

Students and faculty celebrated the 20th anniversary of NMSM in an amazing concert at Keller Hall, UNM!
NMSM Winners at the Jackie McGehee Young Artists Competition
Akilan Sankaran, a student of Lawrence Blind, received 1st-Place performing the first movement of Edward MacDowell's Concerto No. 2 in D Minor in the 2021 competition, and he has performed with the New Mexico Philharmonic three times as a result of his win!
Honors Concert at the Royal Conservatory of Music
Twenty four students from NMSM made their international debut at historic Mazzoleni Hall at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada! The concert was a smashing success and we were also treated to a tour of the Royal Conservatory facilities.
